On 4th of December 2014 Bio-Value SPIR hosted an international one-day seminar on biorefinery
Four leading scientists and industry representatives from USA, The Netherlands, France and UK presented their expert knowledge within the value chains from biomass to high value products. Throughout the day 62 participants took the opportunity to discuss the scientific highlights and strategic routes for European and global biorefinery!
Please find the presentations of the invited speakers below:
Dr. Keith Waldron, (The Biorefinery Centre, Norwich Research Park, UK): Tailored solutions to convert biomass into added value products
Dr. Arland Hotchkiss (USDA, ARS): Advanced bio-conversion and separation technologies in creation of new value-added products from agro-industrial streams
Scientific Advisor in Catalysis and Processes, Jean-Luc Dubois (ARKEMA, France): From Market demand to new value chains: oil crops for future European biorefineries
