Double the biomass production with half the N-leaching

Throughout September the results of BioValue’s rotational cropping systems have been in various media.

The story is a collaboration between Project 1 and Project 2 about the potential for doubling the biomass production with half or less of the environmental impact – by using perennial grasses in stead of cereals. Realizing this potential however requires that we make good use of the green biomass with extraction of market-competitive protein and by-products.
